Mandatory for players to participate in Quetta exhibition match: Sethi

The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Najam Sethi, has instructed all players to participate in a mandatory exhibition match taking place in Quetta before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8. The match, between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, will be held on February 5 and features players such as Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam, Shahid Khan Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Naseem Shah. Some players are currently participating in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and have been asked to return by early February. Despite player reservations, Sethi has stressed that the match is in the national interest and has asked team owners for support. The exhibition match will be a celebration of Kashmir Day, and tickets go on sale January 30 for Rs20 each.
