 A UAE-based company has expressed interest in setting up a university in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. During a meeting between the company's Vice Chairman, Abdullah Nasser Lootah, and the Sindh Governor, Kamran Tessori, the two sides discussed opportunities for investment in education, health, and other sectors. The governor highlighted the favorable investment opportunities in the province of Sindh and assured Lootah that he would receive all necessary support and assistance. The company also expressed its intention to set up a power plant in the city. The close relationship between the UAE and Pakistan is based on cultural, religious, and historical ties, and there have been recent high-level exchanges and visits between the two countries. The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has also indicated that his government is looking to expand investment in Pakistan.
